Prayer

It seems that not a day goes by that we don’t read of someone getting murdered, killed or beaten up, especially children. What has happened to this country that has brought us to the point of becoming hardened to all the horrific news that we hear or read about? We have turned away from God and said we don’t need Him in our schools, workplaces or even in our lives and we wonder why He has drawn back His hand of protection that once blessed this great country. People, it is time to get down on our knees and pray for forgiveness, for help, for a nation once again under the sheltering hand of our God and Father.

On Thursday, May 3, we will again be gathering at the Fountain Park amphitheater for the annual National Day of Prayer. Starting at 5:30 p.m. we will be serving hot dogs, chips and cookies free with water and iced tea. At 6:30 p.m. we will have an hour of prayer and praise by the members of the Fountain Hills Christian Ministerial Association. This is an opportunity to join with people all over this great nation as we come together in repentant prayer.
