Predictable

Even before the rebuttals to Mr. Broge’s letter came in this week, their content was predictable. The letters from Mr. Deleano and Dr. Rutkowski called to question the facts and numbers used by Mr. Broge.

They immediately quoted contrasting numbers and facts to support their own opposing opinions. May I suggest that these two individuals expand their fact source beyond FOX News and their local monthly Tea Partier’s meeting.

I have questioned the facts and figures used by the Tea Partier’s movement ever since their rallying call beginning in 2009 that President Obama was not born in the United States. The fact that Hawaii was admitted to the United States on August 21, 1959 seems to have escaped them during their years of education.

I have questioned the facts and figures used by the Tea Partier’s movement ever since their rallying call beginning in 2009 that President Obama was not born in the United States. The fact that Hawaii was admitted to the United States on August 21, 1959 seems to have escaped them during their years of education.

To avoid this battle of numbers in the future, may I make a suggestion that all letters that include facts and figures now contain a bibliography. This list of all of the sources used for facts and figures could easily be validated. This will help eliminate the so- called “facts” from the fiction that has been used for years by the extreme far right to sway the uninformed voter.

One final fact in closing: In a recent poll the percentage of registered voters who stated they had no affiliation with the tea partiers was 90 percent of the citizens of the United States who are registered to vote in the 2016 Presidential election.

Education truly is a fine thing when the real facts are presented by a certified teacher at all of our public schools.

I can include a valid bibliography to support my facts, can you?
