Preliminary autopsy on dead woman inconclusive

The preliminary report from the Maricopa County Medical Examiner's Office was inconclusive in determining a cause of death for Angela Cantwell, 50, the woman found dead in a vehicle in Fountain Hills on Thursday, June 26.

The report indicates the woman appeared to be in reasonably good health and no apparent cause of death could be immediately determined. The preliminary report does not include any toxicology evaluation, which usually takes several weeks.

Cantwell, an Oregon resident, was staying with a friend in Fountain Hills and he reported her missing after she did not return after a job interview in Chandler on June 25. She was found dead in his pickup truck shortly after midnight on June 26.
