Market growth
Presby Pickins’ Flea Market has experienced consistent growth month after month, a press release read.
“We were thrilled to have all our spaces booked and our campus bustling with shoppers in November and December. We look forward to continuing to offer our community a marketplace to sell their wares, as well as a unique experience to buy an eclectic mix of items,” Presby Pickins Co-Chair Kathy Cole said.
As part of the church’s community outreach, Presby Pickins’ will shine a spotlight on a community initiative each month inviting organizations such as the Extended Hands Food Bank, Young Minds Initiative and the Fountain Hills Protect Our Youth Coalition to share information about their programs.
“Through our market, we can give back to the community by raising awareness of important initiatives and sharing a portion of flea market proceeds with these groups to support their efforts. Plus, we offer community service hours to teens willing to volunteer at the market,” Presby Pickins’ Co-Chair Shawn Uphoff said.
Interested vendors can register online at fhpresbyterian.info/fleamarket to reserve parking spaces at $25 each. Vendors can add a table or a chair for an extra $5 each. The $25 fee includes all marketing and advertising efforts to ensure the success of the event.
For those wishing to donate items to FHPC, church members will run tables during each sale. FHPC will not accept clothing, furniture or large items.
Fountain Hills Presbyterian Church hosts this monthly flea market on the first Saturday of each month through April 6, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the church’s front parking lot. The church is located at 13001 N. Fountain Hills Blvd.
