If you love spirit-filled contemporary worship, “Home by another way” at Fountain Hills Presbyterian Church may be the service you are seeking.

The 11:15 a.m. service at FHPC offers modern music that includes today’s most popular worship songs in a creative band-driven environment. Pastor Bill Good also offers an encouraging and spiritually invigorating message each week.

The community is invited to share in the teachings from Pastor Good, along with inspiring music from Director Debbie Fisher and the Hilltop Band. In each of the services, the goal is to create opportunities for each person to express praise and thanks to God through music, fellowship and good sound biblical teachings in a meaningful way.

The music and songs are intentionally chosen to engage hearts in a way that is inspiring and relevant, with the goal and focus on Jesus that brings praise and honor to Him, all in an atmosphere that is inviting and comfortable.

Fisher said, “It’s so wonderful to see the littlest ones scamper up on the platform and join in the opening songs with these big smiles, alongside Bonnie Hollabaugh, who signs the songs for those in attendance. I can see it reflected in the attendees faces”.

Debbie DeBernardi, director of Christian Formation, has goals for young people to be supported by the faith community, giving them life mentoring and busy families the support they need.

“We want to have young people feel welcome while educating them in the Word in relevant and engaging ways, creating projects and sending them out with a sense of peace and purpose for their lives.”

Pastor Good believes, “It is a family meeting with God, it is a community engaging with God, gathering with our neighbors, to seek God’s presence, to glorify and enjoy Him, to hear His word, to revel in the union and communion with Him along with your fellow neighbor.

“We are always mindful that not all those who attend our worship services are regular ‘churchgoers,’” explains Pastor Good. “Consequently, we welcome everyone, speak in a language people today can understand and relate to, preach the Gospel clearly, and pray that they experience the presence of the living God and find the way that begins to fill some of their needs in our Church and its worship services”.

Residents and visitors are invited to join the church leaders and others each Sunday at 11:15 a.m. at 13001 Fountain Hills Blvd. Call 480-837-1763, or visit the website for more information www.fhprebyterian.info.
