Fountain Hills Presbyterian Church will celebrate Women’s Sunday at 9 a.m., Jan. 27, in the church sanctuary.

The theme is “God is With You.”

The guest speaker will be Mary Saylor, recently retired pastor after 13 years at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church in Phoenix.

A native of Ohio, she attended Wheaton College, Fuller Theological Seminary, Boston College School of Theology. She has been married to George Saylor for 33 years. He also is a Presbyterian minister.

She enjoys quilting, playing the piano, and reading mystery novels.

Women will comprise the choir that morning. All musicians accompanying them will be females.

“This is an annual event that has had a whole lot of thought and planning put into it. Everything from the scriptures read to the music sung,” said choir director Debbie Fisher.

The regular casual contemporary service “Home by Another Way” will be held at its usual time, 11:15 a.m., in the Fellowship Hall.
