Election season is in full swing, with the Presidential Preference Primary for Arizona taking place next Tuesday, March 22.
We encourage everyone to get out and vote or, since most will be voting through the mail, remember to complete those ballots and send them out in a timely fashion.
If you are on the early voter list, you should have already received your ballot in the mail. The only parties able to take part in the Presidential Preference Primary are Democrat, Republican and Green. If you are registered Independent, then you’ll have to sit this round out.

As a reminder, you can still take part in this election if you are registered with one of the three parties mentioned above, even if you were not on the early voter list or did not receive a ballot in the mail.
There are around 60 polling locations available throughout the Valley, and you can vote at any of those locations. Polling sites will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on March 22. If you failed to get your early ballot in the mail on time, you can also drop by any of these sites to make the delivery.
While a full list of the sites can be found at voter.azsos.gov, there are three locations in or in close proximity to Fountain Hills.
The first is the Fountain Hills Community Center, with the next closest location being the Fort McDowell Community Recreation Center, located at 16402 N. Fort McDowell Rd. The McDowell Mountain Community Church is also a nearby polling site, located at 10700 N. 124th St. in Scottsdale.
