There are a number of reasons to support Daria Lohman for the Arizona State Senate Legislative District 23. For me, most important are two key issues.
Arizonans will need well-educated citizens to compete in today’s global society. Daria has promised to fight to fully fund public education, K-12. In addition, she will support making our universities, community colleges and trade schools more affordable. She believes, as I do, that only through education will future Arizonans be able to compete and thrive in today’s world economy.
Secondly, I support her because she believes all citizens are entitled to decent, affordable health care. This is a basic need, just like food, shelter and clothing. Equal health care for all!

Daria has other top priorities such as infrastructure and jobs, water, air quality and the environment.
Daria has served our country for six years in the Army in Vietnam. She holds a B.S. in physics and math and has worked as a program analyst for 33 years with General Dynamics as a software cyber security engineer before retiring in 2015.
