CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

Project in Fountain Park winding down

New shade ramada houses Sanitary District equipment

Construction work is winding down on the shade ramada and equipment building for a Sanitary District recharge/recovery well in Fountain Park.

The security fencing was rolled back to the immediate area of the new building and new sod was rolled out for the area that was disturbed during the construction. The Town of Fountain Hills has begun its annual overseed program in the park so the new green turf should soon be sprouting.

Over the last few years, the Sanitary District has undertaken an effort to upgrade its recharge/recovery system with improvements to the structures housing electrical and control equipment. Underground storage vaults have been replaced with above ground structures that improve safety for workers and the public. The latest project began in April this year.
