What I remember most from my first visit to Fountain Hills a dozen years ago is the quality and charm of this wonderful town. I instantly began dreaming and planning to one day live here in retirement. My dream was realized and now my wife and I have spent five winters here in our townhome.

While I am only a part-time resident (and one of the most budget-conscious people you could know), I strongly support our property tax initiative. If not addressed, our town’s looming budget shortfall will most certainly impact the quality of the town and the quality of living here.

I will not allow my penny-pinching ways to take a toll on our infrastructure, parks and community programs.

Without proper care and maintenance, our charming town could eventually become another one of the average “so-so” communities we shopped before choosing to invest here. To protect our investment and our future years, I encourage my friends and neighbors to support the local property tax to provide essential funding to our unique town.
