Protest

I am a Vietnam veteran who personally has been deeply hurt and offended by the NFL players who refuse to stand during the National Anthem.

I saw black, white and Hispanic soldiers die in service to this country that gives all citizens the right to protest. However, those protests should be done at private venues, not nationally broadcasted NFL games. That right to protest came on the lives of young men and women who lived in the only country that would allow that because the flag represents all Americans and does not discriminate!

And shame on those players who disrespect those young patriots who lost all of their rights and set that example for new generations of Americans who view those players as role models.
