As a mom of a graduate and 10th grader from the Fountain Hills High School, I fully support voting yes to the school tax override. This override specifically will enhance our technology in a fast changing world, purchase new (desperately needed) text books, furniture and equipment for our aging classrooms, and provide student transportation vans.
This extremely important override has been in place for 15 years… since 1999.
As the state continues to make severe cuts in the education budget, it is imperative that we vote yes on the school tax override. It is not a tax increase. Every grade K-12 will benefit!
