Both mayoral candidates love Fountain Hills and want what’s best for the community. However, Cecil Yates is the most qualified for the position.

Cecil has built several successful organizations and been recognized accordingly for his excellence in business. Presently he has been listed by Ranking Arizona as running the number one property management division in the state.

The Arizona Department of Real Estate Commissioner, Judy Lowe, has appointed him to serve as a subject matter expert on the test development committee for everyone that holds an Arizona Real Estate License. His work within Fountain Hills both as a Planning and Zoning commissioner and now a council member has enabled many of the strategic plan development opportunities to occur.

He has an excellent reputation for working with others. “AZRE Magazine” named him in their 2017 edition of PTK “People and Projects to Know” and “Arizona Business Magazine” just named him in their 2018-19 edition of the Most Respected and Influential Business Leaders in the state. He has tremendous character for treating all people with respect.

I have two significant reasons for supporting Cecil. One is that he believes our town should be the best place for everyone to live, work and play. He has a full working knowledge of economic development, budgeting, finance and strategic management.

My second reason is that leadership is measured by results. Cecil is not talk, he is action! Goals made by the town will be accomplished, and usually completed at the highest level of success.

Cecil is a proven leader and very successful in business. He is an excellent public servant and has many roles as a community volunteer. He has been a leader in his church and is a committed husband and father. Cecil is the kind of person we want to be our mayor.
