The developer of a proposed condominium complex at FireRock Country Club is still holding out hope that an improving economy will allow the firm to go forward with the project.
On Thursday, April 11, the Planning and Zoning Commission will consider an additional two-year extension to entitlements granted when the project was first approved in 2006.
La Bella Vita is an 80-unit complex that would occupy a hill just east of the clubhouse in FireRock.
The request for the extensions includes the concept plan approval, a utility disturbance permit and the time needed to record a final plat on the property.
The commission will also consider a recommendation for an amendment to the Subdi-vision Ordinance regarding lot divide restrictions.
The Planning and Zoning Commission will meet Thursday, April 11, at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers at Town Hall. The session is open to the public.
