P&Z recommends ‘community residences’ ordinance changes in Fountain Hills

Applies to transitional housing

The Fountain Hills Planning and Zoning Commission recommends the Town Council approve several changes to the Zoning Ordinance as it applies to community residences.

Such residences, usually in residential neighborhoods, are group homes where unrelated people live together. This may include assisted living or transitional housing.

The commission first looked at proposed changes in February, and staff has since made adjustments suggested at that meeting.
