The Planning and Zoning Commission will consider a recommendation regarding a special use permit allowing truck rentals at a Fountain Hills auto repair shop.
Desert Dawg Auto Repair, 9521 N. Technology Drive, is asking for the permit. The business is located on property zoned IND-2, IUPD. This designation would require a special use permit to allow rentals.
Staff is recommending stipulations that the applicant not store any inventor or repair vehicles in areas designated for shared parking in the commercial condominium complex. All rental vehicles, as well as storage of vehicles under repair, need to be within an enclosed area behind the building.
