The Fountain Hills Planning and Zoning Commission will take another look at a request by Ejim Design Group of Phoenix for a special use permit to allow residential development within a commercial zoning district.
The commission meets on Monday, Aug. 11, for a regular session.
Ejim first came to the commission early this year requesting permits for proposed development in a commercial zoning district in the area of Fountain Hills and El Pueblo boulevards. However, the commission had significant issues with the original design and how it fit onto lot configurations for the property, as well as accessessibility as the units were originally proposed as senior living units.
