Questers: 60 books for Fountain Hills students

With the cost of educational materials always of concern, Fountain Hills Unified School District gladly accepted 60 books from Arizona Questers at a Jan. 15 ceremony.

And just before Nell Bigley of Arizona Questers handed over the basket to Fountain Hills Middle School Principal Kim Weeldreyer in the FHMS library, a member of the local Four Peaks Questers read off some of what the donation was about.

“We need to remember these forgotten notes of history, where we find compassion,” Betsy Stambaugh said. “And I think these books will fit perfectly into Arizona schools’ state standards for history.”
