Rabbi to conduct meditation workshop

The Jewish Recovery Fellowship of Arizona will present an evening with Rabbi Shais Taub at 6 p.m., Tuesday, May 22, at Chabad of Scottsdale, 10215 N. Scottsdale Road.

Event organizer Rabbi Mendy Lipskier of Chabad of Fountain Hills said the event, “Improve Our Conscious Contact,” will focus on the importance of meditation as a spiritual practice and will include a guided group meditation.

“The Jewish Recovery Fellowship is always looking for ways to promote the spiritual growth of people in recovery,” said Lipskier, director. “This event is something that we have been wanting to do for a long time. Rabbi Taub has spoken for us a number of times over the years but this is the first time we will be doing his meditation workshop.”
