Rain totals in Fountain Hills

Storms dropped Fountain Hills daytime high Monday to mid-80s.

Some parts of Fountain Hills saw over half-an-inch of rain Sunday night into Monday morning as monsoon storms lingered around the Valley.

Of the eight rain gauges in town by the Maricopa County Flood Control District, the one at Hesperus Wash saw the most with 0.71-inches.

A gauge at Cloudburst Wash near the Adero Canyon Trailhead collected 0.63-inches and the Golden Eagle Boulevard gauge gathered 0.59-inches. The Hesperus Dam had 0.55-inches.
