A storm system moving across Arizona on Tuesday brought some moderate rain showers to Fountain Hills.
Rainfall monitoring stations of the Maricopa County Flood Control District collected just over a quarter inch of rainfall at two locations. The site at the top of Golden Eagle Boulevard at the water tank received .28-inch as did the rain gauge on Hesperus Dam just north of Tee Pee Drive.
The station in the McDowell Mountains as well as ones in Hesperus Wash west of the dam and along McDowell Mountain Road north of town all received .20-inch.

The National Weather Service is calling for the weather to break to clear sunny skies and above normal temperatures for the remainder of the week.
