The discussion surrounding the departure and replacement of the Fountain Hills town attorney that began last spring culminated with the Sept. 2 town council meeting when the council voted to ratify professional services agreement with the firm of Tim La Sota, PLC.
The vote of 5-2 completed the process of hiring La Sota’s firm after the council decision in June to select La Sota to replace the firm of Pierce Coleman and attorney Aaron Arnson after they terminated their agreement with the town in April.
Attorney Jennifer Wright with La Sota’s office is now handling the day-to-day legal needs of the town.
