Reason to celebrate

Fountain Hills Superintendent Patrick Sweeney recently announced that our students performed well above the state average on the Arizona MERIT testing. Our high school students improved their proficiency in Algebra, from 47 percent to 57 percent between 2016 and 2017, compared to the state average which increased from 36 percent to 39 percent.

Students in Geometry scoring at the proficient or highly proficient levels increased from 46 percent to 63 percent while the state average decreased 1 percentage point from 35 percent to 34 percent.

We are blessed to have such strong district leadership, faculty and support staff in our schools; as well as many hard-working kids. Please join me in celebrating, validating and honoring this effort by voting YES on the School Override issue!
