The Town of Fountain Hills will host an electronics recycling event on Saturday, April 27, in the Community Center/Town Hall parking lot from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
The town is working with Westech Recyclers to offer recycling event that includes a wide variety of components including computers, computer monitors, copiers, faxes, telecommunication equipment, medical equipment (no bio-waste), household batteries, video recorders, cameras, cable TV boxes and a variety of other electronic equipment.
Due to the current market conditions for CRT’s, Westech will not be accepting the Cathode ray tubes (CRT’s). Also, no rear-projection TVs, vacuums, hair dryers, speakers or remotes will be collected at the event.

The town will also be collecting CFL and tube fluorescent lights during the event.
Residents of Fountain Hills, Rio/Tonto Verde and the Fort McDowell Indian Community are welcome to participate in this event.
