Red Flag warning up for Saturday

With a cold front approaching from the Pacific the National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for the Valley including Fountain Hills on Saturday, May 6. The Red Flag Warning brings with it the potential for high fire danger.

Sustained winds of 20 to 25 miles per hour are forecast for Saturday with gusts up to 35 miles per hour. The warning is in effect from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The high temperature is forecast at 93 degrees for Saturday, but with a significant drop off Sunday and into the first half of next week. There is rain in the forecast for Monday and Tuesday.
