Former Fountain Hills Mayor Linda Kavanagh and former British Royal Marine Commando Chris Brant are helping organize a faith-based event in Fountain Hills as part of a celebration of 250 years of America.
Called Rededicate 250: A National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise & Thanksgiving, the event is a localized version of President Donald Trump’s event of the same name which aims to publicly acknowledge the role of faith in America’s founding. The event takes place at 4 p.m. on May 17 at the Chamber Patio at 16837 E. Palisades Blvd., according to a flyer.
The event is packed full of various speakers and performers, including but not limited to Councilwoman Hannah Larrabee, Town Mayor Gerry Friedel, Reverend Jeff Teeples of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, Rabbi Pincahs Allouche of Chabad Lubavitch of Fountain Hills, Brant himself and more. Speeches, musical performances and prayer are some of the items attendees can expect to witness on that day.
