Reed remains Fountain Hills school board president

New appointment expected at end of this month

Members of the Fountain Hills Unified School District (FHUSD) Governing Board gathered for the first meeting of 2024 Wednesday, Jan. 3.

The board voted on officers for the year and approved a list of supplemental reading material for all three schools.

Member Lillian Acker nominated Jill Reed for board president, and member Madicyn Reid nominated Libby Settle for board president. Settle abstained from the vote, so Reed remained board president by a 2-1-1 vote.
