Referendum petitions tied to Fountain Hills development rejected

An effort to refer to voters a Town Council zoning decision related to an apartment complex on Shea Boulevard in Fountain Hills has likely come to an end.

The Town of Fountain Hills announced on Wednesday afternoon that Town Clerk Linda Mendenhall had rejected the petitions based on non-compliance with state statutes.
