The eagerly awaited 2016 General Election is now just over a month away on Tuesday, Nov. 8.
Those who have not registered to vote in the election, but want to be sure they get their say in this historic event, have until the end of the day on Monday, Oct. 10, to register.
Registration can be accomplished online by visiting the county recorder’s website at recorder.maricopa.gov/elections. You can pick up a registration form a Town Hall to return to the county by mail, but it must be postmarked by Oct. 10, which this year is a USPS holiday (Columbus Day) so get it done early.

Early ballots for those on the permanent early voting list (PEV) will be dropped in the mailbox on Wednesday, Oct. 12, and arrive at the voter’s home a day or two later.
Those not yet on the PEV and want to request an early ballot have until Friday, Oct. 28, to make the request. That also may be done at the recorder’s website.
