On Saturday, April 23, Fountain Hills held a Relay for Life cancer walk at Fountain Park. If you weren’t there, you missed out on a wonderful event.
I wanted to participate in the Relay and have a team, which I did. I am a 23 month survivor and spending the day with other survivors and cancer patients was so heartwarming. You to be there to feel it.
I want to thank my husband for helping me set up for a long day and my children who spent the whole day (12 ours) walking and helping. To all my wonderful friends who came out and donated and walked and walked, thank you.

A special thank you to American Legion Post 58 and Fountain Hills Rotary for sponsoring the Relay, along with the other sponsors. Also, to American Legion Auxiliary Unit 58 for your contribution; you ladies rock!
