As the new school year begins it is once again time to register for Religious Formation at Church of the Ascension.

Young people from kindergarten through high school can be registered after all Masses on the week-end of Aug. 22-23. Religious Formation aims to teach young people that God is a friend who is always with them.

Children in kindergarten and first grade enroll in Imagine! Second and third grades go into Catholic Kidz. And fourth and fifth grades will register for The Buzz. All three of these groups will meet two Tuesdays a month in the parish hall from 6 to 7:30.

Middle school and high school will meet two Sundays a month after the 5 p.m. Mass.

Several exciting activities, such as crafts and service projects, are planned for all groups throughout the year.

Tables will be set up in the parish hall after all Masses for registration. There will be additional information; a calendar with the whole year's schedule can be picked up when registration forms are returned to the parish office.

If your family is not already a member of Church of the Ascension, you are invited to register at that time. Church of the Ascension is at 12615 Fountain Hills, Blvd. For more information: 837-1066.
