Republic Services, Inc., an environmental services company that provides residential collection and disposal services for communities in the Valley including Fountain Hills celebrated with local community leaders by opening Republic’s new state-of-the-art Salt River Recycling Center.
The new facility will play a role in helping improve recycling rates in the Valley with higher capacity and more modern technology than its predecessor.
The original facility was destroyed by a fire in October 2019, and Republic redirected its recycling operations to other facilities until the site was rebuilt.
