Restrictions due to dust pollution

Maricopa County has extended its No Burn Day restrictions for Friday, Dec. 3 to Saturday, Dec. 4.

High levels of PM 10 and PM 2.5(particulate matter from dust and smoke) is the reason for the declaration.

Wood burning in residential fireplaces, chimeneas, outdoor fire pits, and similar outdoor fires is prohibited in Maricopa County. This includes individuals and businesses which have burn permits for open burning.

Maricopa County has extended its No Burn Day restrictions for Friday, Dec. 3 to Saturday, Dec. 4.

High levels of PM 10 and PM 2.5(particulate matter from dust and smoke) is the reason for the declaration.

Wood burning in residential fireplaces, chimeneas, outdoor fire pits, and similar outdoor fires is prohibited in Maricopa County. This includes individuals and businesses which have burn permits for open burning.

Individuals should also avoid the use of leaf blowers and off road vehicles.
