I can’t count the number of times that I have walked the path in Fountain Park. Our park is a beautiful gem, the centerpiece of the town. Whenever I walk the park, I still smile every time the fountain goes off.

Even at that, not everything is perfect. There is always room for making things a bit better. Something that I have always wanted to see added to the park is more restrooms. We only have one. It would be really nice to have a few more facilities available throughout the park.

I recently learned that there is talk of adding new restroom accommodations to the park. Apparently, the town is working with the Sanitary District to make that happen. Finally! This is something that is sorely needed. Let’s hope that they get built soon.
