An endorsement of the proposed Fountain Hills Property Tax by the North Heights POA appeared in a Save Our Town ad in last week’s Fountain Hills Times. Unfortunately, that is not accurate. A number of North Heights residents have opposed the listing of NHPOA as an endorser.

I am responsible for including NHPOA in the ad. My rationale was that the tax would benefit our North Heights properties and I agreed to the publication. This was not accepted by all and, to the contrary, there have been complaints for which I apologize for my independent action. The board was not involved and has no culpability.

The NHPOA board retracts the line “North Heights Property Owners Association” listed with the names in the Save Our Town ad.
