Richard Patrick Raucci, born March 17, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois, died Monday April 4, 2016 in his home in Fountain Hills.
He was born in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Anthony and Lida (Banducci) Raucci. He married Janet Long on Sept. 5, 1964.
Richard is survived by his wife Jan; his daughter Rita (Ron) Ludwig,; son Steve (Sandra) Raucci; his grandchildren Ryan (Jessica) Ludwig, Alexandria (Michael) Mayers, Nicholas Raucci, Abigail Ludwig, Bradley Raucci, Michael Raucci; his great-grandchildren Maxwell and Madelyn Ludwig; his brothers Robert (Beverly) Raucci, Ronald (Kitty) Raucci, and several nieces and nephews.
Rich was a loving family man and devoted to his church and friends. He was one of the pioneers of the EDM industry. He had a passion for cars, both working on them and restoring them.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 16, at Harvest Bible Church.
