Richard Wyatt Earp died Sept. 6, 2016 in Minnesota.
Dick was a resident of Fountain Hills for over 25 years, and due to health reasons moved back to Minnesota last year.
Dick received an Accounting Degree from University of North Dakota in 1954. Following graduation Dick was a pilot in the Air Force, and he was mobilized during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
In 1958, he joined Arthur Anderson as a CPA, where he eventually rose to tax partner until he retired in 1988 at the age of 56.
He had many leadership roles in the Minnesota Taxpayer’s Association and frequent interviews with publications and Time Magazine. He attended a luncheon at the White House to discuss proposed tax changes in 1982.
He was an active member in the Fountain Hills Men’s Club, and enjoyed golf, poker, hunting, fishing and billiards.
After his retirement Pat and Dick enjoyed traveling the world. Dick is survived by his wife Pat who in Edina, Minn.
Services were held Saturday, Sept. 10 in Minnesota.
