The election of directors to the Rio Verde Community Association (RVCA) Board of Directors will be held at the annual meeting of the association on Tuesday, March 26, 2024.

Each year, five directors are elected by the RVCA members. In accordance with the RVCA’s governing documents, the board appointed the nominating committee at its Nov. 16 meeting.

The committee includes Chairman Kevin Waring, Nancy Clifford, David Fridovich, Trish Ugorowski and Mary Wagner. The Committee will publicly post its nominated slate (60) days prior to the annual meeting.

Any member interested in being considered by the RVCA nominating committee should submit his or her application to the RVCA office by the end of the day Friday, Dec. 22.

The application must include the following information: name, Rio Verde address and phone number; number of years in Rio Verde and length of stay in Rio Verde per year; education and employment background; list of boards and committees served on in Rio Verde; and a response to why do you desire to serve on the RVCA Board?

In addition to the nominating committee process, members may nominate additional candidates by petition signed by a minimum of 25 members entitled to vote. Petitions must be submitted to RVCA Secretary Jill Arnold at the RVCA office by the end of the day Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2024.
