Christie and Rick Gorsline are settled in their home in Rio Verde, for the time being, as they work toward planning their next adventure. Ever since their two daughters went off to college, the Gorslines have been on the go.
With an empty nest, the two decided it was time to take off and get away, and they decided to go big. Their first thought was to buy a boat and sail around the world. However, Rick said he began to look at all the blue covering the globe and started to have second thoughts on that kind of trip. They decided to downsize their goals somewhat.
What they did was purchase a 37-foot sailboat, the Nanook, and it became their home for six years sailing up and down the coast of Mexico, stopping at various ports of call along the way and renewing their travel visas every six months.
