Fountain Hills: River of Time announces new art gallery exhibit

Community invited to free opening reception

The community is invited to attend the opening reception for the newest art gallery exhibit at the River of Time Museum & Exploration Center, “Etched by Water – Embraced by Time,” from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 17.

Admission is free and registration is optional. Guests will have the opportunity to view the collection while meeting featured artists Claudia Smith and Dr. Hal Hunt and enjoy light refreshments during the reception.

Smith is a painter, interior designer, writer and newspaper illustrator. Her work is included in the permanent art collection at the Fountain Hills Community Center. An award-winning artist, her paintings are featured in galleries throughout Washington state and Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Fountain Hills: River of Time announces new art gallery exhibit

The community is invited to attend the opening reception for the newest art gallery exhibit at the River of Time Museum & Exploration Center, “Etched by Water – Embraced by Time,” from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 17.

Admission is free and registration is optional. Guests will have the opportunity to view the collection while meeting featured artists Claudia Smith and Dr. Hal Hunt and enjoy light refreshments during the reception.

Smith is a painter, interior designer, writer and newspaper illustrator. Her work is included in the permanent art collection at the Fountain Hills Community Center. An award-winning artist, her paintings are featured in galleries throughout Washington state and Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Hunt, a retired pediatrician, has earned recognition for his paintings in juried shows. Working in both acrylics and oils, his art captures the realism of nature alongside the imaginative wonder found beyond the bounds of earthly flight.
