Robert "Bobby" Brewer

Dr. Robert “Bobby” Brewer was transferred to heaven on 06/11/24. He was the son of a career serviceman, Bobby was born at a US Naval hospital in Yokuska, Japan and including Japan, briefly lived in Southern California and Virginia. He graduated from William Byrd high school in Vinton Va. where he played varsity tennis. Brewer then went to Liberty University for his undergraduate studies and Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary for his masters, both in Lynchburg, VA. He obtained a doctorate from Phoenix Seminary and authored several books, most notably Postmodernism: What you should know and do about it and Help! I’m really single. He also co-authored a commentary on the biblical book of Ecclesiastes with Dr. Darryl DelHousaye. Among other positions at other churches such as youth, young adults, singles, and outreach pastor, Brewer served on the pastoral staff of Scottsdale Bible Church for ten yeas and at Hillsong Phoenix for ten years. For over 15 years he co-hosted a radio show for Salem Broadcasting. Due to spending the bulk of his life in the Valley of the Sun, he considered Fountain Hills his hometown. He regularly mountain biked in the McDowell mountains and enjoyed taking photos with his smart phone. In addition to this, his interests and hobbies were varied including NASCAR, Church history, Theology, and Green Lantern comics. He is survived by his loving wife Kristen. They were married in 1994. In lieu of flowers, Bobby requested these monies would be better used to spread the gospel; donations can be made to Reigning Grace Ranch Chapel.
