Robin M. Clark, 74, of Fountain Hills passed away peacefully on July 12, 2017. The daughter of Robert H. and Aletta Angus, Robin was raised in Union, N.J. and graduated from Union High School in 1960. She attended Skidmore College.
Following several moves across the country, Robin settled in Clinton, N.J. in Oak Knoll. She was a principal with Angus Furniture until, together with her husband, Earl Clark, she retired to Fountain Hills in 1998.
Robin supported and volunteered countless hours to numerous local charities as well as the VFW Post 7507. She was an active member of Four Peaks Women’s Club, Friends in the Hills, The Liberal Ladies and regularly volunteered for programs such as Home Delivered Meals and the Fountain Hills Community Theater.
An avid bridge player, Robin most enjoyed spending time with her friends. She was adored by her children and grandchildren and celebrated every opportunity to be with her family.
Robin’s husband, Earl, and sister, Kate Peterson, predeceased her. She is survived by her daughter, Amy Connolly of Fountain Hills and her children, Maxwell (Kimberly) Connolly and Ian Connolly of Reigelsville, Pa., her son, Matthew Angus (Beth) Williams of Scottsdale, and their children, Maeve, Theodore and Gillian; her sister, Julie (Joseph) Markoski of Alexandria, Va., her brother, Tod (Jane) Angus of Westfield ad many adored nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend a visitation service for Robin on Friday, July 28, 2017 at the VFW Post 7507 in Fountain Hills from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, followed by an internment service at the National Cemetery of Arizona at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to “VFW Post 7507 Building Fund.”
