The federal budget for fiscal 2018 had a deficit of $778 billion dollars and the deficit for fiscal 2019 will undoubtedly increase. Therefore, an increase in revenue is needed to keep the deficit under control.

I believe that this can be can be accomplished by instituting a federal tax on robocalls of $.06 for each call. This will help reduce the deficit and will not require any additional taxes from taxpayers. It could also reduce robocalls, which all would appreciate.
