Construction workers on the Avenue of the Fountains spend Monday filling iron cages with rocks to create decorative entry points for walkways and water features for the Avenue median improvements.

The upgrades include new irrigation and electrical systems as well as 60 new trees to be planted in the median. Construction is scheduled for completion by late October.
