President Franklin D. Roosevelt is the latest United States president selected by the Fountain Hills Public Art Committee to be included in Presidents’ Row in Fountain Park, along with Presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt and Ronald Reagan.
Roosevelt, our 32nd President, is the only one to have served more than two terms. He was first elected in 1932 and was reelected three more times.
Marty Brown, a member of the Public Art Committee, is leading the drive to raise approximately $50,000 to acquire and install a sculpture of FDR. The goal is to complete the fund drive and have the sculpture created by the end of this year.

Donors of $500 or more will have their names included on the dedication plaque for this work of art. Marty reports that approximately a third of this amount has already been donated.
Those interested in participating in this effort should call Marty at 480-837-3412 or give me a call at 480-518-5183.
