Rotary Club of the Verdes to host dark sky presentation

Lecture is April 7 at Rio Verde Country Club

The Rotary Club of the Verdes will host a presentation Monday, April 7, at 4 p.m. about the International Dark Sky Discovery Center.

The lecture will be held in the Club Sundance Room at the Rio Verde Country Club and presented by Tony Pistilli, night sky exhibit hall champion and discovery center board member.

The community is invited to learn about the $27 million project underway in Fountain Hills. The 23,000 square foot observatory will house the largest telescopes in the Metro Phoenix area along with a Hyperspace Planetarium, Inspiration Theatre, Immersion Zone Exhibit Hall and Einstein Exploration Station.
