Rozansky: Peggy McMahon will get the job done

Posted

When we cast our ballots for local leaders on Nov. 5, let’s ask ourselves, “Who will listen to the priorities of the town as a whole? Who can we trust to put our collective interests first versus individual partisan interests? Who will safeguard our town’s progress and lead us forward in making Fountain Hills a better community?”

The answer is clear: Peggy McMahon. As a resident for 23 years and as a Town Council member for four years, Peggy knows our town and our priorities for growth and sustainability.

As our town ages, Peggy supported capital improvements to keep us safe (repair our streets, add eight miles of bike lanes and hiking trails, add to and connect our sidewalks). She advocates for the safety and well-being of residents with her votes to bring the Fountain Hills Fire Department under the town and supporting the MCSO contract. She is a steward of our town’s budget as her votes contribute to the town’s fiscal responsibility standards.

From renovating the Community Center to supporting the International Dark Sky Discovery Center, Peggy promotes new businesses and opportunities for recreational activities. She is a leader whose voice is recognized across various boards and committees in the county.

I believe that Peggy McMahon is a leader that we can trust to continue to make a difference in our community for four more years. Please join me and others to elect Peggy McMahon to a second term on the Fountain Hills Town Council.  Thank you.
