Thank you, Pastor Tony Pierce and Phil Robertson, I support you!
Why does it seem as though people in today’s society are under the mis-conception that the “gay lifestyle” is something new? That if Jesus returned to earth, He would accept this lifestyle and support those who choose to live it? Being gay is not new. It was practiced when Jesus walked this earth. He did not approve of it then, nor would He approve of it now.
God does not change the rules of life by garnering public opinion. As Christians how can you say you believe in God, but then change His word to fit your game of life?

Why is it OK with you that the one you call your maker can change the rules to the game anytime He wants? I don’t want to follow someone who is that much of a milquetoast. (We don’t even let our kids get away with changing the rules mid-game!) Remember the old saying, “if you stand for nothing, you’ll fall for anything?” God stands for a lot, all of which is clearly spelled out in the Bible.
If you believe God is a God of “majority rules,” you are mistaken.
Jesus loves and cares for all creation…but doesn’t love sin. He asks the same of us; love the sinner, not the sin. Yes, if Jesus returned to earth, He would love and care for all sinners, but He would not change God’s Word. His Word has stood the test of time.
And unlike us fallible humans, His Word does not fall prey to whims of emotion.
Just because someone tells you that you are intolerant or calls you names, doesn’t mean you have to change your rules…Jesus wouldn’t.
