Rummage success

A successful rummage sale was held at The Church of Atonement at 11002 N. Saguaro Blvd. by Fountain Hills Girl Scouts on March 25. Seven local troops participated and all proceeds collected will be used towards the troop’s goals, community service projects and offsetting fees for overnight encampments and neighborhood events.

Fountain Hills Girl Scouts wishes to acknowledge and thank The Church of Atonement for their generous support in allowing troops to use their parking lot and tables for the sale. They would also like to thank all the generous Fountain Hills residents that donated items for the sale.

Shoes not sold at the end of the day were donated to a local resident that repairs and donates them to charities. All other items not sold were taken to various non-profit charities and to Goodwill.
