Safeway fire

A Safeway employee was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation after a fire in a diswasher at the deli in the Fountain Hills grocery store. Firefighters were called at about 6 a.m. Thursday morning and quickly controled the fire with a portable extinguisher, according to Assistant Fire Chief Randy Roberts. The employee was treated by fire department medics at the scene, but declined transport to the hospital. Damage was contailed to the dishwasher.
